I can't believe I begin to like blogging. I guess being a stay-at-home mom makes me go a little insane. Blogging gives me a chance to lash out responsibly. :-)

Grace went to her swimming class today and was very content in the water. She didn't try to swallow water like last week and although she still cried before I got into the water with her and Gheo, she enjoyed the whole class ! We were proud parents.

Then we called papi and mama in Indonesia to say Happy Idul Fitri, mohon maaf lahir dan batin. They've gotten back from the Id prayer in early morning and sounded happy. It's tradition in Indonesia during Idul Fitri for families to go to each other's place asking for forgiveness from each other and exchange gifts. Especially kids love to get new things... mostly clothes. I do miss the 'adzan (hm... spelling?)' dan 'suasana lebaran'. ... sigh ...

HAPPY IDUL FITRI

Excuses

Waduh, it's been more than a year ago since I touched this blog. Sorry kepada yg sudi ngecek. Pertama abis bikin blog ini terus saya dapet posisi Associate di Standard & Poor's, NYC. Terus jadi suibuk buanget. Terus sebulan di S&P I found out that I was pregnant. Terus deadline after deadline came from S&P... mana perut jadi tambah membesar dan 3 bulan pertama sering munek2x dan pusing kepala (well... ini sih due to cut off from caffeine).

Terus akhir bulan Maret, si kecil memutuskan utk keluar ke dunia ini 10 days earlier than her due date. Terus bulan April kami seklg. boyongan ke Redmond, WA utk ngikuti suami join Microsoft. Terus baru sekarang saya bisa punya wkt 'luang' dikit sbg stay-at-home mom dari Grace Muresan yg usianya mulai menginjak bulan ke-6.

Demikian excuse sekilas dari saya.

Birthday

Yesterday was my birthday and I'm grateful for having received everything that I wanted. My parents gave me their first blessing at midnight, my nephew sang a birthday song for me in the morning, my husband took me to a dim sum place for brunch, the Romanian consulate officers gave me my Romanian visa at noon, my husband bought me the iPod's 5th generation in the afternoon, and I got my tickets to fly to Cluj-Napoca in the evening. What more do you want on the day of your birthday?
